The only bridge that serves the people at Dakodwam of Ridge Nhyieaso electoral area in kumasi metropolis of the Ashanti Region has become a death trap to road users and students thus appealed to authorities to fix the problem in order to prevent any accidents and deaths of innocent peoples.
Speaking with Sarkodie Peprah, the assembly member of Ridge Nhyieaso electoral area, Hon John Kokofu Appiah said, The state of the bridge has caused fear and panic to residents and students.
He therefore calls on authorities of Kumasi metropolitan Assembly(KMA) to come to their aid to fix the bridge in other to save lives.
He further appealed to the government and non governmental organization to assist the people of Dakodwam at Ridge Nhyieaso electoral area and rehabilitate the dangerous bridge for them.
Some of the bridge users expressed their concern about the danger of the bridge when crossing.
